A Time to Be Born:

Arthur L. Cook Sr. was born on July 4, 1956, to the late Willie James Cook Sr. and late Rosa Lee Burns in Dixie, GA. Those that knew him best called him "Beaver". He was a lifelong resident of Lafayette County.

Education:

Arthur was a graduate from Lafayette High School where he was active on the football team until he injured his knee and was unable to play again.

Occupations:

Arthur was a man of many occupations; he was a truck driver after high school. He worked in this industry for 15 plus years. He also worked for BAHA Boat Factory and Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort up until his passing.

A Time to Die:

On October 18, 2024, Arthur answered the Master's call at North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville, FL.
