Missionary Betty Gean Jackson was born February 16, 1956, in Milan, Georgia to the late Carrie and Willie James Youngblood Sr.
Betty attended Kerbo Elementary School in Mayo, Florida and Gibbs Highschool in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Betty worked as a nurse at the Angel View Crippled Children Hospital in Desert Hot Springs, California, a Mortuary Makeup Artist in Saginaw, Michigan. Betty also worked and assisted different families in the area.
Betty went to be with the Lord on February 6, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in Perry, Florida.
Betty was a Christian of the Pentecostal Faith, and believed in the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost. She was a Missionary and a member of Little Galilee Holiness Church, Mayo Florida under the leadership of Bishop and Pastor Annie Sellers. Betty also attended other churches in the area. Betty loved cooking and praising the Lord.
Betty leaves to cherish fond memories: A loving and devoted husband of 26 years, Oliver Jackson of Mayo, Florida; 2 Sons: Elder Darrel Youngblood, Madison, Florida, Ray Wilson, Mayo, Florida. 3 Daughters; Lakeita Wilson, Mayo, Florida, Gia Keels, Live Oak, Florida Erikka Jackson, Tallahassee, Florida. 3 Brothers; Freddie Simon (Phyllis) Mayo, Florida, Willie Youngblood (Pam), Orlando, Florida Calvin Youngblood, Seattle, Washington. 2 Sisters; Cynthia Youngblood (Bobby) Murrieta, California, Priscilla Brown (Robert) Live Oak, Florida. 22 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. 2 Sister-in-law Josie Jackson Lake City, Florida, Minister Patricia Henderson Gainesville, Florida and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin, and other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
Betty was preceded in death by her Mother; Carrie Peterson Youngblood, Father; Willie James Youngblood Sr., Grandmother; Ethel Lee Fleming, Grandfather; Bennie Lee Fleming, Son; Jermaine Youngblood and Daughter; Selena Wilson
