Sister Cappie E. Perry was born February 3rd, 1957, in Live Oak, FL. She was the third child of the late Nelson Perry Sr.  and Annie Bell Perry.

Cappie received her formal education in Suwannee Country and graduated from Suwannee High School in 1975. Following high school she attended Miami-Dade Community College where she obtained her associate degree in business. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church in Live Oak, FL.

On Sunday, July 28th at 11 am, the Lord called Cappie Elaine Perry home. She is now rejoicing with her parents: Nelson Perry Sr. and Annie Bell Perry; her sister: Glenda Perry.

She leaves behind a family that loves her dearly. She is survived by her two children: Pedro Perry and Fallon Jernigan; three grandchildren: Tyleke Jernigan, Ta'Nyja Baker and Breyelle Mays; her brothers: Nelson Perry Jr. (Deloris), James Perry (Jerri), Columbus Perry, Bruce Perry (Pebbles) and Michael Perry  Sr. (Kanitra); her nieces and nephews: Tracey Broxey (Shay) Tawanna Perry, James Perry Jr., Lakeshid  Derico (Terrance), Collis Givens), Xavier Perry, Tisha Perry, Jalon Perry, Shaparis Perry, Asia Perry, Laconius Richardson (        ), Paris Tooten , (Christopher), Tacara Nelson, Dexter (Mia) Perry, and Maurice (Candice) Perry; A host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
