Mrs. Catherine Banks Eversley was born September 10, 1968, to the late John H. Banks, Sr. and Mattie L. Banks of Statenville, Georgia.

Catherine was raised in Echols County where she attended public school and graduated in 1986. She loved to play basketball and received several awards including MVP (Most Valuable Player). After graduating from High School, she performed various jobs in the customer service field. Catherine managed the Circle K convenience store for the last 15 years, where her customers became her friends who grew to love her and looked forward to her warm smile every time they entered the store.

Catherine loved her family, especially her husband, four children, and two grandchildren, but she was loved by everyone and they always had something good to say about her. She was the "go to" person of the family and would give the shirt off of her back to help anyone in need. Catherine was an excellent cook and was always ready with a hot meal for those she loved.

On Sunday, October 11, 2020, Catherine was called home to be with her Heavenly Father and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, John H. Banks, Sr., and all of her grandparents.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted husband of 18 years: Sylvan Eversley; four children: Brittany Miller of Lake Park, Georgia, David Miller, Jr. (Cheyenne) of Valdosta, Georgia, and Mariah Eversley and Myesha Eversley, both of Statenville, Georgia; two grandchildren: Alana Miller and K'lon Miller; her loving mother: Mattie Banks of Statenville, Georgia; seven siblings: Willie Smith (Gussie) and Sharonda Thomas (Willie), both of Valdosta, Georgia, Betty Roberson (Michael) and John Banks (Cheryl), both of Brunswick, Georgia, Marsha Banks of Waycross, Georgia, Eva M Brown (Enoch) of Stockton, Georgia, and Alexander Banks (Denise) of Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
