David Morris was born July 28, 1987 in Tampa, FL to Zellene Kelly and the late Albert Morris. He was also preceded in death of his sibling, Javontae Ward.

He was loved by family and friends and on September 24, 2025, he departed the journey. David heard the voice of Jesus saying,

"Come to me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest."

He leaves to cherish his memories: his Mother, Zellene Kelly; Step-father, Quinn Kelly; one Brother, Antonio Morris of Valdosta, GA; one Aunt, Temperest Daffin of Jacksonville, FL; a Grand-mother, Gloria Guice of Gainesville, FL; 6 Great Uncles: Raymond Morris, Norman Morris (Greta) of Ruskin, FL, Frederick Morris of Tampa, FL, Arthur Robinson (Patricia), Dave Ward (Jessica), and Ernest Ward; 2 Great Aunts: Denette Ward of Gainesville, FL and Roxanne Hope of White Springs, FL; a favorite Niece, Ava J.

Morris; 2 Godchildren: Janiah of Live Oak, FL and David of Atlanta, GA; and a host of cousins and friends.
