Robert Robinson, Jr., better known as "Bob," was born February 24, 1943, in Live Oak, Florida, to his late parents, Mr. R.V. and Martha Robinson.
Robert was educated in the public school system of Suwannee County. He graduated in 1962 from Douglas High School. After completing high school, Robert was employed by Artis Brown Chevrolet, until he became a Deputy Sheriff with Suwannee County Sheriff's Department in 1969, under the leadership of Sherriff Buddy Phillips. He worked as a deputy until his retirement. He returned to law enforcement working as
a bailiff until his health failed.

Robert accepted Christ at an early age and attended Pure Church of Righteousness under the leadership of Bishop Moses Williams. Later,
he joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church, under Reverend Julius Davis, where he served on the Trustee Board until his health failed.
Bob was active in his community and would often be called upon to cook for various activities within the community. He was a great cook,
extremely funny, loved music, and had a fondness for many things, including cars, the open road, and a nice-looking yard.
34 years of service with the Sheriff's Department. Even though his health was failing him, Robert's faith in God didn't. He knew the Word and continued to live a blessed life doing the things he enjoyed the most, such as going on many trips with his beautiful wife,
Liz, and visiting and spending time with his closest loved ones. Robert transitioned from this life to the next on Monday, August 28,
2023, to take his much-needed rest with the Lord. He will be missed deeply by his loved ones. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, R.V.
and Martha Robinson (Reverend Robert James Jackson).

Robert "Bob" Robinson, Jr., leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted wife, Elizabeth Washington McBride Robinson; a special goddaughter, Ann Murphy; granddaughter, Monique Freeman; great-granddaughter, Lyric Greenidge; children, Elder Kenneth Robinson, Sharon Miller (Curtis), Lorri Udom (Christopher), Phyl Brown (LeeAnn), Maria Brown, Tracy Brown, and Timothy Riley; grandchildren, Brittney Thompson (Shawn), Grant Udom, Brandon Wetherspoon, Kody Brown, Hayden Brown, and Hayley Brown; great-grandchildren, Chanlier, Chase, and Chance Thompson; brother, Odell Robinson (Jean); sister, Mamie Watkins; special cousin, Jerome (Lilly); and a host of loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear lifelong friends.
