Dorothy Massey was called To Glory on September 23, 2023 in Lake City, Florida with family by her side. Dorothy was born July 24th 1938 in Lafayette County Florida to the late Ida and Dunk Williams She was united in marriage to Walter Massey in 1950 in Mayo,Florida
Dorothy Massey was a Psalm of life. Devoted to her family, friends, and community. She served 30 years in the Lafayette County School System as a Custodian and mentored many eras of students creating everlasting relationships unto her passing.
Dorothy was a proud mother of 5 very loving, caring, and devoted children. Anita Obarakpor, Jerry Massey, Dale Massey, Cathy Massey, and Linda Massey-Campbell whom she proceeded in matrimony. She is also survived and will be greatly missed by her
six grandchildren: Marquesha Massey, Trevor Obarakpor, Mark Massey(Christina) Ayanna
Smith(Jordan) Terry Whidden, and Treston Whidden; three siblings: Janie Curry ,Nathaniel Williams, and Harold Williams(Sarah), 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces,nephews,cousin, friends and many many others whom lives she touched.
