Elaine Taylor , of Atlanta, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on October 21, 2025. She was born in Folkston, Georgia, December 30, 1960. The youngest of four siblings was born to the late Eliga Hannans and Callie (Robinson) Hannans.

Elaine was raised in a loving home in Folkston GA, where she was taught to have a deep appreciation for family, faith, and community—values that would guide her throughout her life. After relocating to Atlanta GA, she continued to embody grace, kindness, and strength in all that she did.  Elaine was a serial entrepreneur with business interests in Private Investigations, and the Used Car Dealership Industry.  Elaine was a great student of her late Mother's culinary skills, becoming a sought-after baker.  Known for her specialty cakes, Key Lime, Red Velvet, Carrot and German Chocolate.

A devoted Mother and Sister, she was blessed with four children, Shaunda Taylor, Carlos (Michelle) Smith, Keisha Taylor and Gregory Taylor, who were her greatest joy. Elaine's nine grandchildren, Malik Taylor, Nyzik Page, Gabriella Smith, McKenzie Musiwa, Morgan Musiwa, EJ Smith, Giselle Smith, Macie Musiwa, and Isabella Smith, filled her heart with pride and happiness bringing her endless joy - she never missed a chance to celebrate their milestones, cheer them on, and remind them how proud she was of them and how much she loved them.  Her home was always a place of warmth, laughter, love and good food.  Elaine's three Brothers, Virgil Curtis Hannans, Elijah Hannans and Jeffrey Keith Hannans were her foundational, emotional and spiritual support as she navigated many of life's trials. Elaine professed special thanks and gratitude to her children's Grandparents the late Ms. Claretha Taylor and the late Ms. Lois E. Smith for providing the care and maternal support in her children's formative years.  Elaine's late Aunt and Uncle - Henry Sr. and Vera McCoy also provided major support to her and her children.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Taylor, and her parents, Eliga Hannans and Callie (Robinson) Hannans. She leaves to cherish her memory, her four children, nine grandchildren, her siblings, relatives, extended family, and a host of devoted friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Elaine will be remembered for her unwavering love, gentle spirit, entrepreneurial drive and enduring faith. Her legacy lives on through the family she nurtured and the countless lives she touched.
