Geraldine Owens was born July 9th, 1955, in Lake City, FL to Mary Hollie and Minister Willie Jones. She received her diploma and attended Poole Memorial Church in Lake City, FL.

Geraldine was employed with SV4C for 25 plus years.

Geraldine loved being with her family, listening to music and having yard sales. She was well knowing in her community.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband; Preston Owens, Mother; Mary Hollie, Father; Minister Willie Jones, Brothers; Freddie Jones, Wilbert Jones, Raymond Jones, Sisters; Mary Perry, Barabara Owens, Grandson; Alphonso Harrison.

She leaves to cherish her memory 5 children: Angela Harrison (Alphonso), Jamaal Owens (Shara), both of Lake City, FL, Calvin Souter (Kerri) of Gainesville, FL, Preston Owens Jr., Dakeriyah Owens, both of Jacksonville, FL. Brothers; Earnest Jones (Sealy), Jimmy Jones (Lazoni), both of Mayo, FL. Sisters; Jacqueline White (Dessie), Live Oak, FL, Sharon Jones, Mayo, FL, Mother-in-law; Lovella Owens, Live Oak, FL, Sister-in-law; Kaffa Owens, Wanda Owens, and Chinneta Butler all of Live Oak, FL. Brother-in-law; Anthony Owens. Stepchildren; Trevita Horton, Torniqua Owens, and James Owens, all of Live Oak, FL.
