Mr. Gregory Hunter was born on October 25, 1951, to the late Woodrow Hunter & the late Macy Jackson Hunter. He graduated from Westside High School in Valdosta, Ga in 1972. That same year he enlisted in the United States Army as a Medical Specialist on October 18, 1972.

On December 27, 1972, he married Brenda Leggett Hunter and to this union 4 children were born.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Macy Hunter, his sister Gwynette Hunter and his son Brice Hunter.

He leaves to cherish his wife of 53 years, Mrs. Brenda L. Hunter, 2 sons: Gregory Jr. (Erica), Antoine Hunter, both of Atlanta Ga. One daughter: Nikki (Addison) Hunter- Arnold of Valdosta Ga. One brother: Harold Hunter one sister: Althea Jones Clay, both of Valdosta Ga. 14 Grandchildren: Kayla, Tyler (Kelsey), Rashad, Montery, Gregory III, Jaden, Chase, Ciara, Caleb, Dillon, Ian, Addison, Destiny, Gavin. 4 Great Grandchildren: Trace, Hutton, Miracle, Milani. 2 Special Nieces: Kea Hunter, Gynni (Allen) Bythwood. 3 Special Cousins: Eldred Hunter, David Jackson, and Jennifer Hunter. Special Friend: Khalanderji Williams. And a host of cousins and other friends.
