She loved her freedom as much as she loved being with her family. Whenever she had the opportunity to get up and go she'd take it, even if it was just to run to the store or deliver a gift to a family member. In recent months she got up early every morning to make it to the clinic for dialysis treatments; however, Tuesday, April 19, 2022 she fell just a little short of reaching her destination. Unexpected and as tragic as her departure was, she has left a deposit in the hearts of all who have known her that will comfort us as we remember her. Her willingness to laugh, love of music, arts and crafts, her ability to find meaning in the smallest of things and collect them as she built up memories she could hold onto and her desire to keep her loved ones close are apart of the legacy she leaves behind. From her children, grandchildren and all those who were fortunate enough to know and love her, we graciously invite all to visit with her one last time on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Eric A. Brown & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church on Berry Street in Jennings, Florida.
