Born on November 27, 1964, in Jennings, Florida, she was the beloved daughter of the late Evelyn and James Randolph, Sr. She graduated from Hamilton County High School in 1982 and went on to build a career, working at Gold Kist, Shaw, and then finally Hamilton County Department of Corrections, where she later retired.
Izabella found joy in life's simple pleasures—shopping, traveling, and creating lasting memories with those she loved. Family meant everything to her, and she will be remembered as the person that everyone called on. She had a special gift for bringing loved ones together and making each person feel truly cherished. Her smile was contagious, her spirit was warm, and her presence made everyone feel at home.
Izabella Allen passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on April 19, 2026.
Izabella leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, David Louis Allen; her devoted children, Angelo M. Mitchell, Phillip A. Mitchell, Vandell D. Dowels Jr., Aaliyah I. Mitchell, Jeriyhaun Mitchell (Jasper, Fl); Mishelona C. Raiford; (Atlanta, Ga) Stephanie Cameron (Durham, NC) and Kendrick Allen (Ashley) of Pittsburg, Ca. Her siblings, James Randolph, Jr., Lillie Randolph (Arthur) and DeCynthia Randolph (St Petersburg, FL) Sarah Armstead and Lisa Walker (Jasper, Fl), and Willie McClain (Valdosta, Ga). Her mother- In -law, Delphine Allen Downey (Hurdle Mills, NC); her father-in-law, the late David Louis Smith; her sister- in-laws, Connie Clutchfield (John), Patricia Downey (Durham, NC), and Delphine Downey (Mebane, NC); her brother-in-law, Tommy Smith (Rougemont, NC); Along with a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and James Randolph, Sr.; her brother, Jonas Randolph, Sr.; her daughter Ebony Dowels and her son Palmer Ocilee Walthour
Izabella's legacy is one of love, laughter and togetherness. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
