Reflection Of Life

"May the Work I've Done for The Lord Speak for Me"

Mr. James William Allen Jr. beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend was born in Miami Florida to the late Mr. James William Allen Sr. and Mrs. Sarah Bernice Allen on Monday October 1, 1973. He answered God's call to rest in his Heavenly Home on Sunday January 23, 2022.

"JJ" as he was affectionately called was raised in Jasper Florida where he spent most of his life. He would later relocate to Valdosta Georgia where he spent his final years before he was called to rest.

He attended the Hamilton County School Systems and was a proud graduating member of the Hamilton County High School Class of 1991. After High School he attended North Florida Community College where he studied Cosmetology and worked in this industry for many years. His heart and nurturing care for others would later lead him into a career in Healthcare, where he worked diligently at Hidden Oaks Assisted Living Facility In Jennings Florida until his health failed.

At an early age in life JJ accepted Jesus Christ as his Personal Lord and Savior and attended church regularly with his parents and siblings at New Mt. Zion Holiness Church under the Christian Leadership of Bishop Matthew Webb. Cultivating his profound gift of singing, he would later become a member of Greater Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church under the Christian Leadership of Reverend J.T. Billy Simon where he served many years as a church musician and youth choir director leading over 100 youth. He also served as choir director to the Tri-County Red Circle Girls and Boys Crusaders performance choir and traveled faithfully singing with the Hamilton County Mass Choir.

Passionate of this gift God had blessed him with, he sought the need to bless others as he was often called upon to sing for numerous churches, funerals, and events.

JJ loved his family tremendously, his Church family, and his friends. He was known everywhere as being spirited, never meeting a stranger. He loved unconditionally, enjoyed life and would do anything he could to help anyone.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Mr. James William Allen Sr. and Brother, James Paul "JP" Allen Sr.
