Janice Marie Greer was born March 12, 1968 to the late Fred Jr. and Mildred Greer. She was a graduate of Valdosta High School, Class of 1987.

On Friday, April 24th at South Georgia Medical Center, Janice answered the Master's call to come home to eternal rest. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Curtis Greer; her maternal grandmother: Rosmond Jones; and her paternal grandparents: Fred Sr. and Mildred Greer.

She leaves to cherish her memories two loving sons: Raymond Greer and Ronnie Greer, both of Valdosta, Georgia; three grandsons: Kaimon Greer, Rayln Spencer, and Jordan Jackson; one special Goddaughter: Keisha Watts; four sisters: Barbra Greer (Mathew), Tonya Greer (Patterson), and Carol Greer (Joe), all of Valdosta, Georgia, and Jewel Greer (the late Curtis Greer) of Norfolk, Virginia; three aunts: Lydia Howard, Sarah Campbell Greer, and Catherine Jones; five uncles: Edgar Giles Jones, Richard Jones, Patrell (Snookie) Jones, Frankie Greer, and Charles Greer; two special friends: Ben Matchett and Linda Murphy; a special neighbor: Michelle Berrian; a special caregiver: Donna Humphrey (along with her sister, Carol Greer); a special God sister: Brenda Norwood; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
