Mr. Jimmy Edward Peters was born on January 9, 1948, to the late Douglas and Geneva Peters. He was reared in Mims, Florida and attended schools in Brevard County. He graduated from Gibson High School. Upon graduation, he was drafted into the United States Army.

Mr. Peters was extremely craftly and exceptionally good with his hands. He had a passion for art and cabinetry, whereas he built cabinets for homeowners over many years.

Mr. Peters was united in holy matrimony in 1988 to his devoted wife, Diane. They resided in Titusville, Florida, then later moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, and finally ended up in Jasper, Florida, where he had taken up residence upon his passing.

Mr. Peters is preceded in death by his son, Douglas Peters; his brother; Reginald Peters; and his 3 sisters: Barbara Lewis, Shirley Merriel, and Lori Rains.

Those left to cherish his memories are as follows: Diane Peters, wife of 36 years, Son; Jonathan Peters, Daughter; Tameka Peters, Sisters; Janice Wright and Linda Rains, Brothers; Donald Rains and Darryl (Diane) Rains; a Sister-in-law; Helen Jenkins, a devoted nephew, Mike Mike; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
