Safe in the arms of Jesus in His gentle breast, then by his love ever shaded sweetly by His soul at rest.

On September 21, 2019 our heavenly father call our loved one home.

The late John Henry "Jake" Smith was born to Mr.Frank and Ethel Smith

He was born in Suwannee County and attended the Suwannee County Public Schools.

He accepted Christ and joined Oakgrove Missionary Baptist Church

He retired from Howland Feed Mill company where he worked for many many years. He was also a retired farmer

Jake was a hard worker and had a passion for farming and fishing. But most of all his passion was his family, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish his memories a wife Marcia Smith; his children; Annette Smith, Jackie Jackson (Jessie), John Smith, Sophia Smith, Ronnie Smith (Andrea), Amy Smith, Darrell Smith (Mary), Farrell Smith and Tara Smith; Brothers: Eddie Lee Smith and James Smith (Lee Ella) . Three brothers preceeded him in death ; Frank Smith Jr. Alphonso Smith and Rufus Smith, One Sister preceded him in death; Earnestine Worthy, Special Friends are Mr. Norman Ellis and Mr. Walter Boatright. A host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Neices, Nephews and Sorrowing Friends.
