On Thursday June 23 rd the Lord God in his perfect timing shifted sister Josephine Thomas from her temporary home, the Suwannee County Nursing Home of Live Oak, Florida knowing that she fought a good fight, and finished her course.
Josephine Thomas was born August 27, 1936, in Swainsboro Georgia to the late Pauline Watson.
Josephine Thomas accepted Christ at an early age, but even more important she rededicated her life to Jesus Christ in her later years continuing serving him. She joined Love Ministry under the Leadership of Bishop Ronald B. Lumpkin. As time would have it to be she later moved her membership to Spirit and Truth Ministry of Live Oak, FL under the leadership of Pastor Alfonso Curtis Ross Sr.; where she remained faithful, humble and always praising the Lord.
Those who preceded her in death are her mother Pauline Watson, and her brothers: Joe Nelson Jr. and Brodie Nelson.
Those who left honoring her always are her only son Nathaniel Nelson of Fort Lauderdale, FL and his wife Selena Nelson of Live Oak, - Grandchildren: Elvin F. Warren, Shawanda (Alex) Bowles, Delton Dukes, Cheretta Ross, all of Live Oak FL, - Great Grandchildren: Deovien Nelson, Demarcuss Bowles, DA' Shawn Bowels, Brielle Dukes, Haven Dukes, all of Live Oak, FL- Brother: Clarence Frazier (Louise Johnson) of Jonesburg Georgia, -Nephew: Ondra ( Shonda) Nelson, - Nieces: Joanna Nelson, Gayla Nelson all from Fort Lauderdale, FL and her church family and host of friends.
