Juanita Dorothy Gandy Chambliss was born April 7,1939 to the late Audie Gandy and Levonia Silver Gandy of Jennings, Florida. Juanita was the fourth born of nine children.

Juanita was employed with the Suwanee County School District for 33 years.She retired in 2006.

She was a member of Church of Christ under the lead­ ership of Brother Dennis Rosenbaum.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Joseph Chambliss Sr. To this union, they had three children, one of whom preceded them in death, Milton F. Chambliss.

On Thursday, September 28, 2023, God in his infinite wisdom removed His angel and called Juanita home.

She is preceded in death by her siblings: Leon Gandy, Ponce  Gandy,  Catherine  Gandy  Nesmith,  Corine Gandy, Reatha Mae Gandy Reed, and Irene Gandy.

She leaves to treasure her memories: one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn White {Michael); two sons: Mr. Terry Chambliss and Mr. Joseph Chambliss Jr. (Sylverine); one devoted grandson, Mr. Michael White Jr.; two brothers: Mr. Ozzie Gandy (Sarah) and Mr. Melvin Gandy Sr.; two sisters-in-law: Mrs. Barbara Jean Gandy and Mrs. Marie Gandy ; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
