Sis. Leatha Mae Holland was born on September 28, 1937 to the late Ben and Julia Mae Scott.

In Christ service, Sis. Leatha joined Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church at an early age, where she enjoyed attending with her church family until her health failed.

The beautiful life of Sis. Holland came to an end on April 27, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father: Ben Scott; her mother: Julia Mae Scott; her sisters: Myra Young, Lucille Hendon, Marilyn Rose, Ollie Mae Scott, and Willie Rene Scott; her granddaughter: Latarsha Holland; and son-in-law: Larry Cook, Sr.

Sis. Leatha leaves to cherish her memory to one loving son: Kenneth Scott; five loving daughters: Phyllis Cook, Shirley Philmore (Arnold), Cynthia Turner; Patricia Jackson, and Debra Perry; one loving sister: Geraldine Scott; seven grandchildren: Michelle Mory, Kelly Philmore, Kiora Turner, Trevia Jackson, Jalon Perry, Quinlan Brock, and Sharday Turner; two great-grandchildren: Shawn Mory and Miai Philmore; one aunt: Laura Ford; two devoted nieces: Theresa Ford and Vivian Scott; two devoted nephews: Darren Scott (Sonya) and Clifford Scott; two devoted great-nephews: Tevin Ford and Tyreece Freeman; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and sorrowing friends.
