PASTOR LEMON CURTIS WATSON was born January 30, 1953 in Halsell, Alabama to the late Lee Matt and Emma Watson. The Godly training of his parents inspired him to seek Christ at an early age. Curtis was the Pastor at Jesus Christ Community Church of Mayo, Curtis attended Lafayette High School and was employed by Southeast Milk Company. Curtis and Joyce were united in Holy Matrimony and were happily married for 35 years. This union was blessed with six children and they raised three grandchildren. The Angel of Death removed from him the breath of life on April 21, 2021 at Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL.

Curtis leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted WIFE: Joyce

Ann Watson; seven SONS: George Campbell, Willie Campbell, Timothy

(Tricia) Campbell, Tyson (Jessica) Watson, Curtis R. Watson, Juantavius

Smith of Mayo, FL, Antwan Brown of Smyrna, TN; two DAUGHTERS:

Nikki Campbell of Mayo, FL and Shaqueta Brown of AK.

five BROTHERS: Herman Watson, Albert Watson, Jimmy Watson, Alvin

Watson of Mayo, FL and Edward Travis of Clermont, FL; eight SISTERS:

Brenda (Willie) Powe, Andrea (Ronnie) Smith, Sara (Maltin) Hernandez,

Willie C. Thomas, Carla Thomas, Donna Thomas and Belinda Travis of

Mayo, FL and Angela (Ronnie) Gardner of Live Oak, FL; MOTHER-IN-

LAW, Loretha Reid; six BROTHERS-IN-LAW: Donald Reid, Willie Reid,

Jimmy (Hattie) Reid, Johnny (Sylvia) Reid, Tommie Reid and O'Neil

Reid, all of Mayo, FL; SISTER-IN-LAW, Carriie Mae Thomas of Mayo, FL.

eight GRANDCHILDREN and three GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN; and a host of

aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Those who have preceded him in death are his PARENTS: Lee Matt and

Emma Watson; BROTHERS: Johnny (Mary Alice) Watson, Freddie

Watson, James Watson and Richard Reid; SISTERS: Shirley Watson,

Rhoda Watson, Nettie Watson, Sara Watson and Minnie Lee Cline; and

FATHER-IN-LAW, Willie Reid.

Our family is a circle of strength and love.

With even birth and even union, the circle grows.

Even joy shared adds more love.

Every crisis faced together makes the circle stronger.
