Magdalene M. Scott was born in White Springs, FL on May 27, 1937. She was the 5th of 8 children born to the Late Jacob and Mollie Mccallum.  Her siblings, Gorlee McCallum, Sr, Thornton Mccallum, Margaret Johnson and Shirley Johnson all preceded her in death.

At a young age Maggie confessed Christ and joined Bethel AME Church where she faithfully served until her health no longer permitted her to attend ser vices. She loved singing in the choir and serving on the steward board, but most of all she loved the Lord!

She attended Carver School where she played on the basketball team for the unbeatable Carver High girls Basketball team and excelled in her academics. She graduated from JRE Lee High School.

In her early adult life, she met and married Robert L Roberson sr. After the family dynamics changed, she met and married Curtis Robert Scott, Sr until his demise in 1979. In 1993 she and Ernest Harden were united in Holy matrimony until his death in 2012.

Maggie was a great cook and held many jobs doing so!

Maggie loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews and enjoyed making them laugh! She was a very lighthearted person.

She is truly going to be missed by her friends & family as well as the staff and residents of Suwanee Valley Nursing Center where she was affectionately known as "Granny."

She leaves to mourn her passing her devoted children: Robert L Roberson, Jr (Lydia) of Miami, FL, Frederick Robinson (Waddie) of White Springs, FL, Phillip Kannady (Myra) White Springs, FL, Timothy D Scott, Lake City, FL, Cynthia Johnson (Derrick) Lake City, FL, Charlene Robinson (Marcus) Jasper, FL & William Scott (Carmen) of Lake City, FL.

She leaves fond memories in the hearts of her 22 grandchildren, 43 great grands and 2 great ­ great grandchildren.

Her sisters: Marylene Leban ( her twin sister) Miami, FL and Lovely M Williams and Laura Bryant Wilder both of White Springs, FL.

She also leaves to mourn her passing: hers brothers & Sisters in law: Tena Barnes, Julius & Kathryn Harden, Mariah & Frank Lee, Paul Harden, Juanita & Carlton Fleming, Willie Mae & John Johnson, Sam & Joan Robinson, Bernice Robinson, Mary Gandy, Esther Robinson & Thelma Jean.

Her Stepchildren: Curtis & Monika Scott, Jerome & Fostina Scott, Dale & Shellie Scott, Sandra & Kenny Graham, Debra Scott Dyer & Anton Dyer, Leon Scott, Jacqueline Scott Davis, Lisa Scott Haines & Robert, Valerie Masnfield, Tarveine Scott, Gloria & Robert Hudson & Ernest Harden, Jr.

Her close friends, Mary Rossin, Earnie Mae Bryant and her nieces and nephews and cousins and other sorrowing friends will always have memories to hold on to.
