Marvin LaShane "Shane" Selph , 59, of Lake City, FL, passed away on April 14, 2026.

Shane was born February 27, 1967, in Live Oak Fl., the son of Marvin Carlton "Buddy" Selph and Velva La Donna Hart.  Shane was the eldest sibling of his sisters (Angela and Dana Locklear) and brothers, Brett, Chett and Garrett Selph.

Shane graduated from Suwannee County High School in 1985 and attended North Florida Junior College receiving an AA Degree.  Shane also attended Florida State University and was a true Seminole fan despite his family being Gator fans. Shane also served in the United States Marine Corp for 2 years. His time in the Marines was served during Desert Storm, and he served his country proudly. Shane served the Lord as a pastor in Ocala, Florida from 2011 to 2014.

Remaining to cherish Shane Selph's memory are children Stephen L Selph (Venicia) of Killeen, Texas, Michael C. Selph (Laci), David A. Selph, Rebekah L. Selph and his wife, Nancy S. Selph all of Starke, Fl. as well as three precious grandchildren (Maddison, Isaac and Jack Selph).

Preceding Shane in death are parents Marvin Carlton "Buddy" Selph and Velva La Donna Locklear and many other loved ones.
