On March 24, 2024, Loretha Reid closed her eyes for the last time to sleep in the Lord until that
great resurrection morning until all the dead in Christ shall rise again, and shall be alive for all eternity.

Loretha Reid was born on March 10, 1927 in Pittcat, Georgia to Isaiah Cason and MaryAnn Golden Cason.

Loretha was a homemaker, a loving wife, and a caring mother and grandmother.

Loretha was also a God fearing woman who loved the Lord. She was a member of the Jesus Christ Fellowship Community Church under the late Pastor Lemon Curtis Watson.

On May 10, 1950, Loretha Cason married the love of her life, Willie Frank Reid. From that union came 10 children: Richard Reid (deceased), Minnie Lee Reid (deceased), Donald Reid of Mayo, Florida, Joyce Ann Watson of Mayo, Florida, Carrie Mae Thomas of Mayo, Florida, Willie James Reid (Bob) of Mayo, Florida, Johnny Lee Reid of Mayo, Florida, Tommy Lee Reid (deceased), and Oneil Reid of Mayo, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her father Isaiah Cason and her mother MaryAnn Golden Cason; her husband Willie Frank Reid; her son Richard Reid; a daughter Minnie Lee Reid; and a son Tommy Lee Reid; three sis- ters: Sally Cason, Rosalee Burns, and Nina Paytee; four brothers: Horace Cason, Henry Cason, Dan Cason, and Jay Cason.

She is survived by seven children; three sisters: Trudy Mae Thomas of Mayo, FL, Thelma L. Simmons of Lake Butler, Florida, and Emma Pinkey, and her husband Eddie of Lake Butler, Florida; three brothers: Isaiah Ca- son, Herbert Cason of Lake Butler, Florida, and Thomas Cason of Live Oak, Florida; 30 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren, 24 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
