Kaigler Beal
Dec 23, 1932 — Jun 14, 2025
A Virtuous Woman
SISTER QUEEN VICTORIA KAIGLER BEAL
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
PROVERBS 31:10
Queen Victoria Kaigler Beal , fondly known as Ma, Grandma, Auntie Vickie and Queen-was a regal presence in every aspect of life. A devoted mother, loving grandmother, dedicated sister, beloved aunt and cherished mentor, she carried herself with grace, strength, wisdom, love and unwavering dedication to God, family and community. Her price is far above rubies; her value immeasurable; not determined by material things.
"HER PRICE IS FAR ABOVE RUBIES!"
Born in Montezuma, Georgia, she moved to Jasper as a young girl and later graduated from JRE Lee High School. She was a part of the basketball team and loved the school operettas. In November of 1948, she and Leon Beal, Sr. were united in holy matrimony Seeking greater opportunities, they left Jasper to join her aunt and uncle, Ralph and Mattie Kaigler Powell in Boston, MA. Queen built a life marked by resilience and ambition. She became a pillar for her family, offering love and guidance to her only son and many nieces and nephews.

Queen's deep, rich alto voice made an impression wherever she went-from singing in school clubs, in plays, and in the women's choir at church. Music was a part of her soul, and she enjoyed good music and attending gospel concerts and those featuring her son. Queen carried that passion with her through the years.

Sis. Beal's faith was her foundation. Baptized at an early age and singing in the choir at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, she continued her spiritual journey as a dedicated member of Concord Baptist Church in Massachusetts. She had a particular devotion to singles min-istry, offering her heart and resources to uplift young mothers in need.
"HER PRICE IS FAR ABOVE RUBIES!"
A queen in her own right, she embodied dignity, elegance, and confidence. She carried her maternal grandmother's name with pride, dressing and presenting herself with stately grace. She and her sisters shared an extraordinary bond, loving each other fiercely and royally. They were truly the blueprint for what sisters should be. For many years she and Aquilla were thought to be twins because they dressed alike, they were the best friends and were inseparable...Quilla and Vickie!

Miss. Beal worked in the clothing industry before joining Shawmut Bank and retiring years later from Boston Financial Services. Her career in banking was distinguished, earning the respect of colleagues as she rose through the ranks. Even after reaching retirement age, she was asked to stay on as a mentor, training new employees and ensuring the legacy of excellence continued.

Beyond work, she was a woman of style, class, and adventure. Fashion was her signature, always setting her own trends. Her love of travel took her across the world (her most rewarding was her trip to the Holy Land), immersing herself in the beauty of different cultures every year. A true lady, she embraced etiquette, poise, and the joy of new experiences and shared them along with artifacts with family.
"HER PRICE IS FAR ABOVE RUBIES!"
Queen enjoyed day and weekend trips with the ministries of Concord Baptist Church and everything with family. She loved returning home to Florida for visits with family and childhood friends. She took delight in attending programs and activities at her home church and with her nieces and nephews and meeting up with all of her kin at family reunions. Her best travel partners were her sister, Aquilla and niece, Princess. Queen's favorite time of the year was her birthday on December 23rd and Christmas treasured occasions when she returned home to celebrate with loved ones, delighting in the birthday cakes crafted by her mother. She ignited so much love and laughter along with family stories that will be shared always.

Her health failed: but not her faith. Sis. Beal loved the Lord and would often profess, "Whatever my lot, thou has taught me to say. It is well, it is well with my soul" Queen was such a woman of faith and no matter the situation there was always a praise on her lips. She was full of praise until the very end and her life was a testimony..now there is sweet rest beyond the river.
"HER PRICE IS FAR ABOVE RUBIES!"
With her passing, an era comes to a close— the last of the beautiful Kaigler sisters. Yet. her legacy endures in the hearts of those who loved her. Using an old adage, Queen Beal left nothing on the field of life. Through her exuberant life, she instilled and left an indelible template for all of her offspring as how to live a God filled life..." stay in His word and pray". She was the very definition of a Christian woman and QUEEN, and her brilliance will shine on in memories forever.
