Obituary

Roger Lavell Jones was born January 12, 1969, in Hamilton County, Florida.

Roger accepted Christ at an early age under the pastoral ship of Rev. George Francis, and on July 16, 2022, Roger r ededicated his life and was a member of the New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church under leadership of Rev. Michael Ward.

Roger received his education in the Hamilton and Columbia County public school system. Roger went to the job corps, and from there on to serve his country in the United States Navy, on the USS Enterprise.

On September 21, 2022, in Norfolk VA. Roger answered the heavenly master call, saying well done my child come on home, and take your rest.

Roger's father, Mr. Nathaniel Coffee along with other relatives and friends preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish Roger's memories; a loving wife; LaKecha Jones; his mother Christine Baker (David), of Lake City, Florida. His Stepmother Ola Mae Coffee, of Orlando, Florida. Daughter; Racheal Jones (California). Stepdaughters; Nikea Bowles, Nikeyshia Bowles, Ni'Nerrion Bowles all of Norfolk, VA. Sisters; Angela Barber (Milton), Rosa Kelsey (Avery) all of Lake City, Florida. Donna Coffee Clark (Leonard), Henrietta Coffee, all of Orlando, Florida. Brother; Nathaniel Coffee of Orlando, Florida. Uncle; Roosevelt Coffee (Eartha) of Bellville, Florida. Aunt; Annie Lee Merine, also of Bellville, Florida. Special friends; Timothy Baker, and David Gray.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other sorrowing friends.
