Ruby Alice Bryant was born on November 14, 1955 in Live Oak, Florida, to the late Gilbert Bryant Sr. & Ethel Lee Young-Bryant. She received the Lord at an early age at Primitive Baptist Church of Live Oak, Florida and later became a member of Oak Grove, Baptist Church of Live Oak, Florida.
Ruby A. Bryant, known to many as "Do It" or "Dutt" attended the Suwannee County Public Schools graduating from Covenant Academy of Montgomery, Alabama
Ruby A. Bryant enjoyed sports, especially, watching football. She loved being amongst family and friends and making sure they were enjoying life. She just loved watching her nephews and nieces play sports.
Ruby A. Bryant, departed this earthly life on October 20, 2021 at the Lake City Medical Hospital of Live Oak Florida, surrounded by her sons.
Ruby A. Bryant Leaves to cherish her memories are: her two (2) loving and devoted sons, Daniel & James M. Bryant, of Live Oak, Florida. Brothers: Gilbert Bryant Jr. preceeded in death, Kenneth Lee Bryant (Evelyn), Sylvester (Tick) Bryant(Marie), David (Bossie) Bryant all of Live Oak, Florida. William Bryant(Merleader) of Vero Beach, Florida. Sisters: Lila Mill Martin, preceeded in death, Gainesville, Florida, Ethel Mae McQuay, Live Oak, Florida, Lenora L. Bryant-Turner, Gainesville, Florida. Aunt: Carrie Bryant-Anthony, Vero Beach, Florida. Godsister: Bernice Sneed, 11 Grandchildren, 15 Nieces & Nephews a host of great-grand children, relatives and many friends.
A special recognition to her oldest living sister, Ethel. For fifty three (53) years of moma's life, you devoted your adult life, your time and your love to protecting, guarding and care giver to her. We want you to know that, We thank you, We appreciate you & We Love You!
A special thanks to LaTona & Lamar McQuay, for at times, giving up your quality of life to step in and help mom when needed. Lamar, you don't have to sit and watch Price is Right and Let's Make A Deal anymore but, thank you, for sitting with her while she watched it. Latona, thank you for making her dream come true. She made it to White House! Again, we say thank you for loving our mom as your own.
A word of thanks to Amanda McCall & S.L. McCall IV. She was crazy about you both. S.L. she will be with you in the big league. She followed you playing football from PAL League to Ohio. She carried you around with her in her heart even unto death.
