Sharon A.
Hinton Warren
Jul 4, 1954 — Jan 16, 2023
REVEREND DR. SHARON A. HINTON WARREN was born on July 4, 1954, in Madison, Florida. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny L. and Goldia Hinton were delighted with the arrival of this beautiful blessing. Their home was one of Christian light and love and family was everything. She and her parents, sister, and brothers/nephews loved being together sharing the w01k of the family farm and every delicious meal cooked by Mama Goldia Hinton McDaniel. She had a mother's heart and she functioned in that role for her nieces and nephews.
SHARON
was converted at an early age joining New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She was always ve1y active in church and loved praising the Lord.
A graduate of Florida State University, she spent more than thirty years teaching in the Madison County School District. She absolutely loved the children and her teaching career. Even after retirement, she never passed up an opportunity to teach.
Later in life, REVEREND WARREN, accepted the "calling" and she prepared herself to preach the word of God. She continued her educational journey at North Florida Community College where she completed the Doctorate degree in Theology. She spent time at the college teaching as well. Some of her most enjoyable moments were at the college with her cohort of other pastors and ministers.
REVEREND WARREN pastored and loved to fellowship with churches in and around the Madison area. DR. WARREN simply loved people and her family. She was caretaker of her mother for years and she and sister, F. H. P. Sergeant Felisicia Hinton loved traveling together. She felt the impact of living without her mother and sister, but she would say:
When Peace like a river attendeth my way
When sorrows like sea billows roll
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say
It is well, it is well with my soul!
A woman of strong faith and principals, the epitaph for DR. WARREN is "It is well with my soul." With many twists and turns of this life, like most of us there were triumphs and challenges, but she would say, "It is well with my soul."
After some health issues, DR. WARREN needed constant health care at medical facilities, but she continued her walk with Christ and her faith never waivered. Her thought was:
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come
Let this blest assurance control
Thank Christ (yes He has) has regarded my helpless estate
And has shed His own blood for my soul
