The world has lost a beloved mother, grandmother, and great­ grandmother. Sharon Kay McCloud was called home by her Lord and Savior on March 30, 2024.

Sharon was born May 2, 1957, to lzell Pete McCloud and Es­telle Atwood McCloud. Her paternal grandparents were John and Blanche Mccloud, and her maternal grandparents were Will and Viola Atwood. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her brother, Ivory Joe McCloud. She is survived by her brothers,  lzell McCloud,  Vernonl McCloud Sr. (Sandra), and Keith Smith (Elizabeth), and her sisters Joyce McCloud Wilson (Bernard) and Vickie Aiken. She is also sur­vived by her four children: Chardrick Brown, Keenan McCloud, Travin Roper (Leta), and Kathryn Roper, as well as several grandchildren and great-grand-children.

Sharon graduated from Hamilton County High School. She worked at Occidental Chemical Corp for 10
years. She was a well-known member of her community in Jasper, FL., and a member of the Church of
Christ in Jasper.

Sharon loved her friends and family deeply and found so much joy in spending time with them. Sharon
proudly proclaimed her faith, and anyone that knew her, knew of her love for Jesus. Her memory will
live on through her family and friends, as she will be greatly missed, but we are thankful for the
peace of knowing that she is up there singing with the angels.
