On Sunday morning, October 15, 2023, our Heavenly Father called his daughter home. Our hearts are filled with sorrow, but we realize that this homegoing is the greatest experience of her Christian journey.

Ms. Sherry Bennett was born on August 26, 1961, to Mrs. Shirley Bennett and the late Mr. LaVolious Bennett Sr. of Jasper, Florida. She was the sixth of seven children. Sherry was preceded in death by her older brother, Donald Bennett Sr., her nephew, Donald Bennett Jr.; and her niece Thanie Y. Bennett. God Parents: The late Bishop Henry A. Brown Sr. and Joyce A. Brown. Sherry's Christian journey started at The Pure Church of Righteousness, where she joined at a very young age. Ms. Sherry Bennett also attended Hamilton County High School, where she graduated in 1979.

On May 4, 1978, she gave birth to her one and only beloved son, Dyrell Bennett. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who are left to cherish her memory. Nephews: Elder Cornelius Bennett, Jasper, Fl.; James Bennett Jr., Jacksonville, Fl.; and Ryan Grisson, Jasper, Fl. God siblings: Cedric Brown, Chanukah Brown, Winifred Brown Lockett, Henry A. Brown Jr., and Armelia Brown. Aunts: Fanny (David) Claridy and Mary Smith of Jasper, Fl.; Margie Solomon, Tallahassee, Fl.; and Cynthia Mitchell, Newark, NJ. Uncles: Willie Frank (Marcia) Smith, Pensacola, Fl.; and Paul (Sarah) Dickerson, Gainesville, Fl. A special cousin, Samantha Martin, a devoted friend, Sylvester Williams, a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews, and many other friends.
