Sheryl Denese Jackson was born on June 25, 1957 to the Late Minnie Mae Linton Jackson and the Late Lawrence O. Jackson in Live Oak, Florida.  She was educated in the Suwannee County Public schools graduating in 1975.  She attended Florida A&M University graduating in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree.  She began teaching in the Suwannee County School System until her retirement.

Sheryl accepted Christ at an early age and joined New Bethlehem A.M.E. Church until her death on June 27, 2024.   While attending Bethlehem Sister Jackson joined the choir, served on the Usher Board, was a member of the Steward Board and President of the Missionary Society she also attended General conferences as a delegate.  Sis.  Sheryl also served as Secretary of the Community Cemetery Committee.

She served faithfully and tirelessly in whatever capacity was needed.  She was continuously seeking a closer relationship with the Father and as a result her faith, knowledge and boldness increased.

Left to cherish loving memories are her son Jheryl Daniels (Christina) of Coleman, Florida; 2 brothers Anthony Jackson of Live Oak, Florida and Donald Jackson of Lake City, Florida; 2 sisters Vivian Williams and LaTonja Jackson both of Live Oak, Fl.;  Fiancée Nathaniel Britt of Perry, Fl.; 1 aunt Allene Thompson of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., 1 nephew Vonchea Jefferson (Treles) of Lake City, Fl, 3 nieces Andrea Franklin (Brian) of Coral Springs, Fl, Renae Williams, Gainesville, Fl. And Sara Williams of Live Oak, Fl.; 2 God sisters Mary McCray of Live Oak, Fl. And Regina Freeman (Bernard) of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.; 2 great nieces Dominique Franklin of Coral Springs, Fl and Dekayla Jefferson of Lake City, FL.  2 great nephews Elijah Franklin of Coral Springs, Fl. And Ethan Reese of Lake City, Fl.; as well as a host of devoted cousins, Godchildren and friends.
