A Time to be Born:

Tarra Mashon was born on August 8, 1971, in Jamaica (Queens), NY to Eugene Smalls and Devonne Alexander. At an early age Mashon and her mom moved to Florida until her demise.

A Time to be Educated:

Attended Miami Dade Public Schools 1989 – Graduated from American Sr High School

2009 - Herzing University with a bachelor's in health care management.

2012 - University of Phoenix with a Master of Science in Psychology.

A Time to Love:

In the summer of 1997 Mashon met Bobby Freeman Sr and they were married October 31, 1998. To this union they were blessed with a son Bobby Freeman Jr.

A Time to Convert:

On the 17th day of June, 1984 at New Way Fellowship Baptist Church of Opa Locka, Fl under the leadership of Rev. Billy Baskin.  Mashon accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized.

A Time to Work:

Mashon was an educator, which led to her passion for teaching.  Mashon aka "Ms. A" her special place of teaching was at New Generation School Lake City, Fl.  She also held various positions such as; customer service at Bellsouth, an independent contractor for Arise Virtual Solutions and freelance as a Certified Nursing Assistant just to name a few.

A Time to Live:

Mashon loved her son Bobby {BJ } with her whole heart!  She enjoyed bringing family together and organizing great outings. She loved to sing, cook and travel. Her mom called her the "little Gypsy".

A Time to Leave:

Tuesday, May 30, 2023, "The Book of Life" closed for Mashon. Our Heavenly Father called His good and faithful servant home where pain and sorrow shall be no more.
