Theoplis "Tom" Randall was born on May 9, 1950 in Evergreen Alabama to the late Climmie and Felix Randall. Theoplis accepted christ and joined Allen Chapel A.M.E church in Wellborn, FL where he served as a deacon under the late Pastor Franklin D Pompey. In February 13, 2011. Theoplis helped establish Glory to God in Christ Church where he continued to serve as a very dutiful deacon under the leadership of Pastor Matthew L. Dillard Jr. (son-in-law). Theoplis served in many capacitites in church, he was an usher, and a very skillful grounds keeper. He was known in the Wellborn community for his willingness to help others both young and old. Many would say that he was a "Jack of All Trades." He was a dedicated husband, father and friend.
Theoplis attended Conecuh County High School and worked many jobs, but he was in his element when he became an entrepreneur in the pulp wood and logging business in which he worked for many years before retiring.
In 1968, Theoplis met the love of his life Betty, and remained married for 51 years until his passing. He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters: Charlotte Johnson (Samuel Johnson), Charquita Dillard (Matthew Dillard Jr.), Winter Green (Patrick Green); four grandchildren: Al-Jowan Jones, Quianna Dillard, Matriel Dillard and Chloe Green, and a host nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Theoplis was called to eternal rest on Thursday, November 5, 2020, He was preceded in death by his parents Climmie and Felix Randall and siblings Hence Owens , Ida Mae Porter, Ozzie Lee Randall, and Willie Bilbo, John Calvin Randall, Charles East, Sam: surviving siblings: Dorothy Ann (Eddie James) Dailey, Getrude (Michael Kirkland), Lonnie Bilbo, Lela Mae (James Rufus), Maude Lee and Olivia
