Wanda Gail Coverson was born on August 20, 1957 to the late Nelson Lewis Jr. and Janie Crowder Burrell in Birmingham, Alabama. She moved to Perry, Florida with her family as a child and grew up in Foley. She attended Jerkins High School. Soon after, Wanda found love and married A. C. Coverson. They moved to Mayo Florida and started their family life.

She was a hard worker and a great mother. She started her career as a Bagger Operator with Lawson's Mill in Mayo, Florida. She was very successful as an Operator for many years before retiring.

Wanda received Christ later in life and thrived in her journey and walk with the Lord. She was called home and received her crown on June 13th at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Nelson Lewis Jr., Janie Burrell, and her stepfather, Lonnie Burrell Sr.; two brothers: Dwight Anthony Crowder "John" and Stanford Lewis; son-in-law: Arthur Sellers Sr., and stepdaughter: Evelyn Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband: Aaron Coverson "A.C."; her children: Veronica Sellers (Andy), Melanie Murphy (Chris), Janet Peeples (Ray), Lareagan Coverson, Charlie Coverson (Meshayla), Christopher Coverson (Keristin) and Anthony Coverson; her stepchildren: Aaron Coverson Jr., Ted Coverson, Leroy Coverson (Yolanda), Linda Cole (Timothy), Felton Woulard and Johnny Coverson; her grandchildren: Arthur Sellers Jr., Trenton Sellers, Kymeisha Coverson, Kyneisha Coverson, Kristian Freeman, Tyrail Minor Jr., Timothy Fleming Jr., Xavier Fleming, Brooklyn Fleming, Shia Fleming, Amarie Fleming, James Houston, Marquette Houston, Blaize Houston, DeVaughn Coverson, Malik Jennings, Ashanti Ivory, Zamarion Hawkins, Jamarcus Smith, Christopher Coverson Jr., Payton Coverson, Mariah Coverson, and Kourage Coverson; two brothers: Lonnie Burrell Jr. and Hal Lewis Sr.; three sisters: Teresa Ortiz, Jacquelyn Burrell, and Janet Sanders; two sister-in-laws: Alma Harris (James) and Mary Spinks; one brother-in-law: Charles Spinks; one Godson: Tavaress Thomas; a special devoted friend: Mrs. Rose Colding; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins
