Warren Terrell Johnson was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 14, 1967 to Annie Horner and Joe Johnson.

Warren attended Simon Gratz High School where he participated in their wrestling program. After graduating from high school in 1985, Warren was later employed with Charleston Job Corp in Charleston, West Virginia. Warren joined the Navy in 1987 and served in the Persian Gulf War (1990-1991). Warren received several medals, ribbons and badges during his time served in the military. In 1997, Warren joined the Naval Reserved and U.S. Customs in San Diego, CA. While in San Diego, Warren met his holy matrimony; Sonya Maxine Patterson Johnson. In Warren and Sonya's reunion, they conceived a child; Nadira Johnson on July 13, 2000. Warren became ill and moved to Gainesville, Florida in 2008. Warren received his associate degree in paralegal studies at Gainesville Community College.

Warren's smile could brighten up a room. He was a loving and independent family man who loved sports, politics and electronics. Warren would go out of his way to help anyone the best way he could.

Warren leaves behind a Father; Joe Johnson; Daughter; Nadira Johnson; Two Aunts; Mary Holland and Anna Mae Thomas; Two Uncles; W.J. Johnson and Melvin Johnson; Four Siblings; Betty, Windell, (Deneen), and Vernon and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
