OBITUARY
Willie Lee Hill known as "Hill" was born in Quitman, Georgia to the late Frank Hill and Katie Ponds, on September 5, 1951. Willie attended public schools in Jasper, Florida. During his high school career, he was a star athlete and played in the running back position. He graduated from Hamilton County High School in 1971. He was employed at Potash Corporation in White Springs, Florida for 40 years as a heavy machine operator. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing softball, watching western tv shows, and football while operating Club Unique in Jasper, Florida for many years. Willie enjoyed, traveling, photography, and spending time with hisfamily. He was also a dedicated Dallas Cowboys and Florida State Seminole fan.
On October 5, 2022, God called Willie Lee Hill home after many years of battling Parkinson's Disease. His memories will live in the hearts of the lives he touched.
Wille leaves to cherish his fond memories, devoted son Terrence C. (Terica) Hill of Kissimmee, FL, loving daughter's Shannon D. Hill (Brandon) of Jasper, Florida, and Princess A. (Telogia) Moore of Atlanta, GA, and his significant other Virginia Gandy of Jasper, FL. Three granddaughters Shantitra "Tee" Hill of Jasper, FL, Zakia Hill and Zaria Hill of Kissimmee, FL. Three grandsons Darius Ingram of Jasper, FL, Jaiden Frierson of Atlanta, GA, and Zamir Hill of Kissimmee, FL. Four brothers Ulysee Cherry of Jasper, FL, Michael "Mike" Ponds of Jasper, FL, Mozelle Curtis (deceased), John Ponds Jr. (deceased). Three sisters Christine (Taft) Smith of Jasper, FL, Catherine (Daniel) Kelly of Jacksonville, Fl, and Lucille Siler of Copperas Cove, TX. Aunt Thelma Ivy of Miami, FL, and Sister-in-law; Sylvia Ponds of Jasper, FL. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family, Tshwanda Gandy, Tameika (Kelvin) Young, Johnathan Gandy, Keyshawn Young, Tamia Young, and Journie Brown and many other relatives and friends.
