"We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8

Willie Lee Palmer Sr. , who was lovingly known as "Buster" to his family and friends, went home to be with the Lord on February 14, 2025, at the age of 73. He was born on September 9, 1951 to the late Zenna Albritton and the late McKinley Palmer. He was a native of Cook County Georgia, and a resident of Jasper Florida. Willie spent 35 wonderful years with the love of his life Annie Pearl Brinson. Willie truly knew that it was more blessed to give than to receive, his generosity knew no bounds. He was not only generous in life, but also in death as an organ donor. Willie was a loving father and grandfather and a beautiful soul who would help anyone. His radiant smile lit up any room he entered. He enjoyed watching his favorite college football team Georgia Bulldogs, listening to the blues, creating projects around his home, caring for his chickens, and spending quality time with who he considered his "best friend" , Cail Larry. He lived life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with his family, friends, and his beloved grandchildren.

Although Willie is gone, he will live in our hearts forever.
