Willie James Williams Sr. was born on September 15, 1937.

Parents: Late Catherine Dennis and the Late Walter Maxwell

Occupation: For over 35 years, Willie worked as a dedicated tree removal personnel member for Koon Lodging, where he was known for his skill, hard work, and commitment. Willie's strong work ethic and passion for his job were matched only by his loyalty and care for those he worked with.


As a father, he was a guiding force, leading by example and always offering encouragement and support. As a grandfather, he became a cherished storyteller, sharing his life's experiences and imparting lessons with a gentle smile. His grandchildren fondly recall his wisdom, his humor, and the countless hours spent in his embrace, feeling safe and loved. He was a man who understood the value of family, tradition, and the simple pleasures of life.


Willie Williams Sr. departed us on November 23, 2024. Willie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lillie Williams; two daughters, Janice Williams and Jeanette Williams; his great grandson, Xavier Williams; and his mother, Catherine Dennis and father Walter Maxwell.


He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories in the hearts of his son, Willie Williams Jr., his grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
